Beachgoers put on their life jackets handed to them. Wearing a life jacket at all times while boating is important even for a quick boat ride. There are enough life jackets in each boat. This is a common sight every morning whenever you are nearby. The backdrop is actually part of Kape Zambo, a local cafe. Kape Zambo serves delicious Filipino porridge or Arroz Caldo among others. It is a total comfort food for those who would want to warm up before starting the trip. There is not one convenience store in the island or a source of tap water. It is best you bring your own bottled water and food. You can chance upon a fresh catch of crabs and some big fish which the few local men themselves caught in the sea and sold on the same day. Your family can enjoy a tray of delicious steamed crabs which the locals will cook for you. Prices range from 200-250 pesos but you can always haggle for the price.
